I have a webkinz secret code problem?

I got a new webkinz "beagle" for Christmas. His name is Copper. I entered in the name of the pet, and then the secret code, and then it said The code has allready been used. I know I haven't used it because I just got it. I clicked on the adoption issues under customer support and it said they will get back to me within 1-3 buisness days. It's been almost 5 days now and still no Copper!? Did I miss a step?

  1. Keep after the customer support people. I know we gave one and my daughter got two so they are really busy right now. Also, it could be something simpler like someone transposed the code for their own and don't even realize it yet. Or is could be something more nefarious! A number of the stuffed critters at the store where we purchased ours had missing tags like someone had just taken the tag and left the animal so I imagine other tags could have been read and then put back on the animal. Either way, the customer support will help you out when you get to them. Send them another email and let them know that you know they are busy but that you are really eager to play with your new toy so could they please try to respond to you. This lets them know that you have contacted them twice but also acknowledges that they are people too and that they are really overwhelmed. You'll find that you get a better response that way.   2. no u didnt if u have a sister or brother they might have u used it be4 u well some ppl might have used the code before u have.. like in the store
