Liger vs. Polar Bear who would win?

Also, do you think a Polar Bear or Liger could take an elephant? Ligers are earth's largest cat and polar's are earth's largest bear.

  8. Polar bear because it's been proven that ligers are 'genetic mistakes' formed through incestual inter-species breeding. They're born naturally slower than either of their counterparts. They may not have the brain capacity or motor skills to survive a mauling.

  10. Some facts on the PB: Polar bears (1,100-1,300 lb) are generally larger than grizzly bears (300-700 lb) and are said to take off a human head with one swipe. They have a ferocious disposition. A witness in a Northern Manitoba Landfill Site said that polar bears won't back off from anything. One person says the polar bear is the most carnivorous bear (true) and would be protected by its thick fur. We have little hard data on the Liger, thus I must say Polar Bear.
  11. Tough question. I think a lot depends on the environment, ligers are accustomed to warmer climates, polar bears live in the Arctic. As far as the elephant question, I recently watched the Planet Earth series and they showed lions attacking elephants. They obviously can't take down a full grown bull but they do go after the smaller and weaker ones in the herd.

  14. The polar bear would win because it's a giant bear!And either the liger or the polar bear could beat an elephant!The elephant could knock them off there feet easily!
  15. again, Bears are one of the strongest, fastest and able animals, It would rip a lion, tiger, liger, tigon, apart. Elephants skin is rather tough however it would be unlikely for a bear or lion to bother, however if the bear was threatened it would attack unlike the cat which would most likely find away out quick.
