TRUE STORY! (seriously) December 11, 2008 timmy timbo (florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm 14 years old. When I first saw Webkinz, I thought that this was another thing that ganz was doing to force kids to buy their products. Then, when I was 13, I saw this stuffed animal on a shelf in a restaurant called The Old Mill. It was the google(but I didn't realize it was a webkinz!) so I bought it. I was so happy with my new purchase I thought he was adorable! Eventually I realized it was a webkinz, and I logged it onto webkinz. I totally loved it. Webkinz is so much fun, and it's adorable. A bargain for 15 bucks!
perry May 28, 2008 Master Auto Technician (Chicagoland, Illinois - USA) My son & I searched all around for a Webkins Platypus. It was a manager at a Target store that suggested that we check online. We found Amazon to be very easy to use, simple to locate the Webkinz we were looking for & actually after shipping costs were added cheaper than all of the local stores...Webkinz Googles
We love Webkinz!! February 13, 2008 Dana Prescott (Tulsa, OK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have 4 boys and the all love webkinz. We live a little distance from our family and some of our best friends, but we bought them webkinz too and now my kids can connect with them and it has been a fun experience.
WEBKINZ ROCKS! January 25, 2008 Ana Luiza Welch (Kingston, OK USA) My husband's family is big and I had no idea what to give to the little ones. Fortunately I bumped against the webkinz at Amazon's website and luckyly I had the curiosity to check it out. I read several reviews (Kid's reviews are a lot of fun to read.) After several reviews I knew what they where all about and decided they could make a good Christmas gift. Got the tiger, the lion, the pig, the elephant and the googles. They all are very cute. Usually kids have more than one webkinz, so I figured that in a way or another my gift was going to be welcome anyway. Webkinz where such a success! I was able to give all the 5 grandnephews the same type of gift (didn't want to provoke jealousy... among them) Webkinz is recomended for children from 3 to 12 years old. Therefore it covered pretty much all my ground. It's nice to know Webkinz are ALWAYS welcome!!!
Webkinz are great! December 28, 2007 Randa (Wasilla, AK) Webkinz is one awesome invention... and yes, they are educational, they have quizes based on each of the 4 core subjects (language, math, science, & social studies) catagorized by age groups, they teach responsibility (on a small scale) because you have to take care of them (feed, clothe, keep them healthy), it teaches about money because you have to earn & spend "kinz cash". Not to mention how cute and fun they are.
